Good to know
Read the guideDo others need an app or an account?
No. They can open your link in their browser, without a MyShare account or extension. If your website or service requires sign-in, they use their own account.
Can people visit when my computer is off?
Your computer, browser and the website or service you share need to stay running. Keep this sharing tab open too, unless you have connected the extension.
How do I control who can view it?
Every share has a temporary passcode. The default link includes it, or you can send the link and passcode separately. Anyone with both can view the page. End the share to close access.
Can I share something on another device in my local network?
Yes. You can share a website or service on another device in your local network. Enter its supported private IP address and allow browser access. Your computer must be able to reach it. See the guide for supported addresses and setup.
Can I share a backend API without a webpage?
Yes, HTTP APIs work too. API tools can call the complete endpoint link with its passcode directly, without opening a webpage first. Your API’s own sign-in requirements still apply. See the guide for setup and examples.
